Jenny resides in a rural coastal village with her extensive menagerie of rescued animals, which over the years have included horses, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, and a variety of parrots and conures that give her much pleasure. She has had extensive experience hand-rearing a wide variety of avian species, including conures, parakeets, larger parrots, and even penguins and other orphaned wild birds.

When she is not writing or caring for her feathered and furry charges, Jenny can be found surfing the waves at her local beach, spending time with her horses, or relaxing on a hammock with a conure on her shoulder ;)

Merging physics and biology

Not too many years ago the sciences of physics, chemistry and biology were distinctly separate. Physics delt with atoms and smaller things that make up atoms. Chemistry dealt with the way atoms get together to form molecules, and biology dealt with those particular molecules that incorporated carbon in (usually) very large molecules.

In more recent years these sciences are flowing together. Biologists developed a need to know more about the ways atoms are made up and the physical rules that combining atoms follow. This has created a more mathematical approach to biology where computers are used to simulate biological processes.

This book reflects this merger and gives the student a basic understanding of the ground between the two sciences. Its companion CD has just about as much information as the book itself and further shows the present start of the art in mathematical modelling of life sciences.

Un excelente libro para todos que quieran aprender el email marketing.
El email marketing puede ser tremendamente rentable, creando una relación con tu lista, estableciendote como experto y consiguiendo ventas tan sólo dándole al botón de "enviar".

Pero la realidad es más difícil: talvez no consigues que la gente abra tus emails - o abren tus mails y luego no toman la acción deseada (= comprar tu producto). Y es que aunque el email marketing a primera vista puede parecer fácil (quién no saber escribir un email?), si realmente quieres conseguir resultados tienes que saber cómo escribir mails que interesen a tus lectores, mails que desean abrir, que captan sus mentes y sus corazones y que finalmente los seducen a comprar.

Esto es lo que el autor Helio Laguna nos enseña en este libro: cómo utilizar "Emailsakis" para fidelizar a tus lectores, cómo escribir sexy y cómo conseguir los resultados que te mereces.

Dice la contraportada "cuando acabes de leerlo, vas a tener la sensación de que habrá un antes y un después en tu vida, ya que vas a aprender a escribir correos como yo lo hago". --- promesas, ojalá el autor incluyera ejemplos de valía, menos paja (su historia como spammer), y centrara en contenido útil.

Este título no tiene un lugar claro en la serie de libros de Helio sobre mercadeo con correo electrónico, no aborda el "cómo" de manera concisa, elemento básico pasa generar el antes/después que clama al escribir correos a nuestra lista de distribución.

Por su extensión y cobertura Email Marketing Intensivo de Helio Laguna, choca con la propuesta del autor sobre entregar valor constante - opuestos.
